Thanks. Altera sure has done well despite the issues of insiders taking too much value with options. My guess is most of the delay is bargaining with Intel over how many options and restricted shares they'll get so they can continue with the shareholder ripoff.

I'll be sad to see it get taken out by Intel as it is a stock in my girlfriend's IRA that I can point to as being very successful when she reminds me of the occasional loser.... I try to remind her that I told her NOT to sell LRCX at $17 after it gained 70% after I bought it for her around $10... but you are probably well aware of how that was my fault for not changing her mind to keep it! LOL

Anyway, I'll have to decide what to do with all the cash if the deal goes through as Altera is one of my larger positions. Wait for a pullback to buy other stocks, distribute it between others or into an index fund or... remodel the kitchen....
