Tech Bull, I have no problem with your liking AMCC more than VTSS, but I still like VTSS -- love their management and their ability to do whatever they want, depending on what makes more sense -- they can make some products GaAs, some silicon and, if they see the need, go to SiGe -- whereas, 'GaAs entry barriers' are too overwhelming for other chip companies like AMCC to compete, imo.
Also, surely you have a substantial profit in VTSS, so I fail to understand why you can't "unload all your VTSS and buy into more AMCC" -- that just makes no common sense at all, unless you are using 'taxes' as your reason -- and that doesn't even make any sense if AMCC is so much better than VTSS.
Further, when you ask, "can you explain why on A up day like Friday one behaved differently THEN the other?", that question does not deserve an intelligent answer.
