Anil: Our place still looks the same not hell of a lot change except for cable TVs,better road and some new houses,other than that everything is pretty much intact. Chegannur,Chegnacherry,Thiruvalla are all about 20-45 min drive,Kottayam is about an hour probably.Trivandrum is 3 to 3 1/2 hours drive,Cochin/Ernakulam is about the same or little less.
As for Trivandrum,we bought some property in 97 close by the engineering college,little away from the madding crowd but yet close to everything like NH 47,Meidcal College,Software Park,University Center in Karayavattom,Veli Lake and the city center is about 10 Km away etc etc.It is close to half an acre but not quite,the apartment we bought is in near Cochin. |
