(Nasdaq NM: MSFT-news) and commercial printer R.R. Donnelley & Sons Co. (NYSE:DNY -news) on Wednesday said they will make an announcement of ''historic proportions'' at a news conference Thursday in Manhattan. In an advisory, the companies said speakers at the event would include Mark Bayer, senior vice president and general manager of R.R. Donnelley & Sons, and Dick Brass, vice president of technology development at Microsoft.
