I wonder if the new TIVO or UltimateTV hard disc recorders will ever have that function where you can record and then search for specific content? ATI has a "Hot Words" feature in the DVR (Digital Video Recorder) software that comes with its family of TV capture boards that allows you to monitor the closed captioning of a channel for words of your choice and program the DVR to record for a certain time. You can even have it automatically transcribe the cc to a file. I have not yet tried this feature, I just got my card.
