Of course AMD doesn't look good with comparison to INTC. Return on equity is low, margins are low, all in all AMD is nothing spectacular.

But after AMD the stock was beaten down to the low teens AMD made perfect sense as a cyclical play. The bonus is that the K6 may turn out to be a nice surprise.
