Was there, too, in 1972-73. 2nd Inf Div in Tong Duchon,
much closer to the DMZ. Those were 13 happy months of
my years. Nowadays, when I change planes on a flight
stopover at Kimpo International, I shake my head in disbelief
that I was once ready to die for this country.
So much have changed. A lot of corruption abound. Let's
hope the new leadership will turn it around for everyone's
good.
