Mike the crazy thing is the announcement still hasnt happened on dram
and I heard Appleton was in Washington yesterday. So, I am sitting on Puts with a 1/2 point profit but I really thought the way this would play out is: hold some calls, the announcement happens, stock goes up 2-3 points, sell the calls, and buy puts. So, made out great yesterday on the calls but the announcement has not happened and this could make this stock jump another couple of points when and if it ever happens. So, If I can get a bit more out of these puts tomorrow, I may sell them and wait for bottom if there is one and get back in with some calls, and wait out this announcement.
Some crazy days ahead.....
Chas, Good call. However, I think this pop may be more than just the SRAM scam, as a number of the lousier tech stocks are up big while a lot of the good companies are treading water. It looks like some of the less reputable brokers have suckered their customers into buying the cos. with big problems because they are down in price. Good luck on the puts. MB |
