To my knowledge EMC provides NO SOLUTION to Y2K problem,
what they provide is adequate STORAGE for companies to TEST their solution.

That's my understanding, too. But if a company is going to duplicate their database or a huge chunk of it in order to test it thoroughly, they will need a lot of storage.

The question I have is, if this comes true, isn't it also true that 2000 and 2001 will be bad years for EMC since everybody who bought tons of storage to test their Y2K solutions will now have enough storage for their regular needs for the next few years?
