I like this part of your post very much:

"I myself have often come into contact with the infinite.
Still try to daily find some revelation of life and
slight wind that stirs in my being.

When younger , lived in Yosemite for 2 years. Experiences with God and me were common there, and occured frequently thru the changing seasons.

What suprises me the most , is how few people today , can actually speak with a freer hearts to having any experiences of nearness to God or a sense of the mystical at all .... In my way of thinking , such revelation should come often and be sought. ,

...or all this mind-blowing Creation would seem to be only a waste.

Quoting from scripture and holy books from the distant past is all very good. But can you put them down for one moment ...go out on your porch , look at the sky, breath and say ------->'yes God I feel you'?"

And you don't always need to go out on the porch to get that feeling.

Very nice thoughts.

Best wishes,
