I'm finding myself agreeing with you. I vote for #1.<

Cheryl, I have made my position clear about Greenspan long a go before the
markets tanked. All I kept hearing and reading was the same old bullshit
about the great stock market rise due to the action of the Fed Chairman. The
markets enjoyed their tremendous growth because they were not being held
hostage to the evils now Greenspan enjoys inflicting. This ludicrous
undemocratic autonomy of the Fed to sabotage and wreck the economy is
plain bullshit and should not be tolerated by the American people. I also
scoffed the day Greenspan was reappointed. Some made total idiotic
comments about how wonderful he is and that I should be ashamed of myself
for doubting his worth or integrity. I am telling everyone and most already
understand that the Fed is trying to screw up this economy by persistent
tightening even though they don;t have a clue as to what the hell they are
doing.
