Or better yet, you could buy CD-Writable at 650MB a pop for about $3-$4 bulk price nowadays. Loads cheaper for archiving data than Zip. Or Jaz. Or Syjet. <<

I'm having a hard time figuring out how CD-Writable is cheaper than Zip. Sure, the media costs less, but it would take a lot of media to compensate for the fact that the CD-R or CD-RW drive costs hundreds of dollars more than the Zip drive. Then there's the issue of speed.
