OT DeeJay Pecadilloes! This is simply where we disagree diametrically! Waco, TX was just a pecadilllo. Justified because they were religious "cultists". Ah! The critical detail. Of course, they deserved to die for that! Ruby Ridge, ID was just a pecadillo. After all, Randy Weaver's pregnant wife and unborn child were consorting and abetting a tax protester. Just shoot them when they walked out on the porch unarmed. Good government compliance work! I guess Watergate's high crimes of a bungled petty buglary and coverup dwarf the pecadilloes of a government using deadly force force against its own citizens. DeeJay, IMO, our government is the biggest enemy to individual liberty extant, irrespective of which party controls it. Why? Like any monopoly, government can do whatever it takes to keep control. Power is never ceded voluntarily. Starting with Caesar and culminating with Stalin, unrestrained goverment monopoly power will ultimately become totalitarian. This is fact. Let's hope it doesn't come to this in the USA. At least not during our lifetimes. Sorry about posting this to your mailbox, Duncan but it sounds like you and I are in the same ballpark re: Dee Jay. Daniel
