If you dispute that, there's no point in trying to discuss any economic issue with you. There are certain basics that are necessary to any conversation on the subject.

I have invited you to explain the basis for your perception of how competition works in your reality. Maybe there's some miscommunication there rather than the economic naivety that I perceive. You simply dismiss what seems obvious to me rather than trying to orient me to your perspective. I'll ask you one more time how transactions between buyers and sellers can be so one sided. Maybe then we can talk about competing health care systems.

It bewilders me how you could never have experienced buyers' and sellers' markets. Perhaps it's your experience with military contracting, which is decidedly one sided as described by Tim.
