In reference to *internet* type of stocks and NOVL. Take NTAP as an example. I think the comparison is relevant since NTAP sells caching appliances. Technically NTAP caching appliances have been proven to be inferior to NOVLs ICS solutions by DELL, CPQ and IBM.

NTAP has about the same number of shares outstanding as NOVL.

In Y99 NTAP had revenues of 289,000,000 vs NOVLs 1.2 billion.

Earnings per share for NTAP @ 11 vs 54 cents for NOVL.

NTAP even after substantial declines this year still is afforded a PE multiple of 300+
