No, my point was: If one fail, one discovers his limitations. Then try again according to the level of his abilities.

Failing with the van on Feb. 13th, and going for a two-plane attack would be akin to someone who couldn't learn how to swim; going to try another water sport requiring a far higher degree of skills and dextery such as ornamental jump from the trampolim.
