Doug,

There is an emerging company on the Toronto Stock Exchange (soon to be on Nasdaq) called Research In Motion (TSE:RIM). They are a wireless communications company which has several alliances already with large US corporations, most notably Intel.

Among their products is a wireless modem.

My bet would be on a partnership in the near future with an ISP or content provider such as AOL.

WHY?

Simple.

Broadband capabilities and it's in line with the 'AOL Anywhere' strategy. These two company's, IMHO, are a strong fit.

Incidently, AOL could acquire this company for next to nothing, as the current market cap of RIM is about $600 million US.

Just my 2 cents,

James
