I think there are no winners in this war. None of US objectives were met (removal of Saddam was not a stated goal so we can count that out). Things have gone from bad to worse - predictably. Iran is grateful to US. Osama Bin Laden is still around in some cave somewhere scheming (he also conveys his regards to Junior for removing Saddam). North Korea has gained more leverage (Kim Jr. sends his love to Bush Jr. as well) along with more nukes. Lottsa money spent.

Of course Iraqis are losers to as you say. But decapitate leadership in any country - you can expect to see the chaos in any to fill up the leadership vacuum. In this case US was required to assume leadership role which it was not been effective at so far - predictably if I might add.
