Valley Girl, I am not a bear by any means. I don't describe market by terms bears or bulls. A bear market is always a bull for a put buyer. My investment strategy on options is to buy calls when a stock is on its way up and buy puts when a stock is topped. I don't buy puts on stock which is on the way down because I don't know how to call the bottom. I made about 5k on msft puts during the last four weeks. I was ready to go, msft did not give me a chance today. Maybe another time. If msft dropped to about $125, I will buy calls. Happy Investing. Michael
