My very dear Grandfather used to give us little chores for little people when I was very young. After we fetched his hammer, or picked up branches he pruned off his fruit trees he'd reach into his pocket, pull out one of those little rubberized coin purses you had to squeeze on each side to open and hand us each a silver dollar. He'd say "shhhhhhhhh don't tell Grandmother" and wink.

Besides missing him terribly, I sure do wish I had all those silver dollars today. ;)
