Hi Mark,

if a non-Christian is verbally abused by a Christian, should the Christian, back up his similarly minded friend, abstain completely, or back up the person who he truly thinks is behaving in the more loving manner?

I have had on occasion, a brother PM me about something I had said and gently (and not so gently) rebuked me, along those lines if continue then the brother should bring it to me again with one or two witnesses, to get me to see an error. If I continue to persist then they should if effect, throw me into the world, until I see my error.

But a Christian cannot agree or "side with" a non-believer just because he/she is more loving in tone.

Due to the wide range of personal thoughts and beliefs of even CHristians, it is hard for what I described to happen in a chat room atmosphere. As I said I have had PMs about my attitude, and deservedly so.

BTW, did you get my PM to YOU last week?

Dan
