Good L.A. Times opinion piece about Microsoft and other monopolies by Charles Ferguson, the guy whose startup invented Microsoft Front Page, and who wrote a book about how screwed he got when he sold his company to Microsoft.

This guy's no dummy; he has an MIT Poli Sci Ph.D. and was a professional Washington policy wonk before deciding he wanted to become an entrepreneur. His sale of Vermeer Development and Front Page to M$ made him a multi-millionaire but earned him an additional advanced degree from the school of hard knocks. His intellect and credentials pale next to those of, say, Frank Ellis Morris or Dale J., but he still has quite an insightful point of view IMHO.
