In Joshua, 1 & 2 Samuel, 1 & 2 Kings, 1 & 2 Chronicles it is all about God fighting for the land He had sworn to Abraham. Clearly a 3rd regathering is foretold in scripture and is what we are seeing. Romans 11 predicts a National repentance and so did Jesus.
Unfortunately you will probably find it not worth your time to discuss Israel here. Anti Semitism in Christians is the biggest reason for Jews not accepting Jesus. It is unacceptable and they will receive the just reward.
