thanks. so thats 2.7 billion cash and about 146,000,000 shares. if they IPO CIT for 7 Billion and can buy back at around 25 thats 280,000,000 shares. S & P says they already divested " over $5 Billion of non-core, less profitable assets" since being acquired.

Or if you dont believe that statment and took a more conservative view of they didnt get anything for Divesture, then repay the 2.7 Billion, take the rest and buy back stock at around 25 and you get 172,000,000 shares. Not a disaster yet. Of course I'm not sure of the offical numbers, just used what you sent and who knows if they will be successful IPOing CIT. IF you liked it before CIT not sure how you are going to be worse off.
