In the highest levels of the Obama administration there is a theory of how to ration health care that is troublingly reminiscent of the British system of "quality-adjusted life years." Beck's show, which I heard last night in my car on Sirius, focused on this. Very scary. I believe they rebroadcast on Sunday and suggest watching. I was not aware that Beck has a daughter severely disabled with cerebral palsy. Under the "quality adjusted life years" formula, she'd probably be written off by the Washington bureaucrats.
