You and M. carter are pretty much on track.

A transaction between 2 traders for 100 options does not count as 200 options, it only counts as 100.

As you say, if you are opening and so am I, OI increases by 100.

If you are closing and I am opening, no change. Vice versa, same thing.

If we are both closing there is a decrease of 100.
