There is no joy in being right on this forecast, and I am sorry that the company has done as badly as I feared. IF the company will survive this, this may be a buying opportunity.

As for my other prediction, it was for a significant increase in unemployment beginning in November and peaking in May, with the beginnings of an increase in inflation, followed by a similar increase next year. I was wrong about the increase in unemployment this year, but the recent increase in the Fed Funds rate was designed to prevent the increase in inflation that they obviously felt was on the horizon.
I still expect an increase in unemployment beginning next fall, and more inflationary pressure, which could lead to further increases in the fed funds rate, and quite possibly a recession.

But again, being right won't make me happy.
