Trev --- Something in my nasty, conspiracy-driven mind rings a bell.

There is a highly professional South African mercenary operation called Executive Outcomes which was involved in the recent aborted coup attempt in Papua New Guinea. No-one could understand what the South African interest in such a remote place could possibly be. Now, here comes Iscor, a company in the iron and steel business, buying a 25cent gold mine. Strange coincidence. Must have been a front. The plot thickens.

I am surprised that you are still able to get South African coffee in Canada! At one time that was a very popular brand in SA but it's illegal here now.

I won't comment on that advert about peace and harmony.

I don't think LTCM is a scam --- just a screw up by arrogant people who, in their own minds, couldn't make a mistake. Just like the Nobel prize-winner, who runs my country. It's strange how Emperors, everywhere, don't wear clothes!
