Net to Net Technologies Launches Plug-and-Play G.lite ADSL Solution
PORTSMOUTH, N.H., July 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Net to Net Technologies today expanded its extensive Digital Subscriber Line product portfolio with the introduction of its plug-and-play G.lite ADSL module for the company's IP DSL Access Multiplexers (IP DSLAMs). Compatible with any standard G.lite modem, Net to Net's G.lite Access Multiplexers eliminate the need for complex equipment configuration, both at the home and at the Central Office, significantly reducing deployment and support costs for service providers. Orders are being accepted immediately for the G.lite Access Multiplexer (part no. GAM1500-12) module, with shipments expected for early August.

Net to Net has pioneered the use of native IP technology to cost- effectively provide plug-and-play DSL solutions, and has successfully developed a standards-based G.lite product to accomplish the same goal. Compliant with the company's IPacket(TM) architecture, Net to Net's G.lite products cohesively blend the simplicity and reliability of Native IP data transport while providing interoperability with any vendor's G.lite modem. This further strengthens the company's position as the leader in developing DSL solutions that solve real customer needs.

Net to Net Technologies' President and CEO Ken Latimer commented, ``Our G.lite offering demonstrates Net to Net's commitment to providing the most complete DSL solution in the marketplace. Our customers demand a G.lite solution, and we're now delivering that solution with the same set of features that are available across our entire product line. Our customers are now able to deploy packet-based, IP broadband access networks, yet still support standard G.lite consumer access.''

The GAM1500-12 is a 12-port Access Multiplexer module for the company's IPD 12000 and IPD 4000 IP DSLAMs. Ideal for Central Office and MDU deployment, the IPD12000 and IPD4000 are engineered for reliability and support IDSL, SDSL, and T1/E1 access options in addition to G.lite.
