An excellent plan! I note its detractors are both Democrats.

"No matter how you dress it up, how long you delay it,
or what you call it, a voucher is a voucher," [Democrat] Education Secretary Richard Riley said.


And this gentleman is against it for the very reason he should be for it. What he really is against is the poor being given the opportunity of choice.

"We would be against a plan like this," said [Democrat] Reginald Felton, director of federal relations for the National School Boards Association. "The objective is to raise the academic achievement of all students."
