Milwaukee Mayor Attacked While Trying To Protect Grandmother And Baby By admin on Violence Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett was attending the Wisconsin State Fair when he witnessed an old women crying out for help. She was trying to protect her 1 year old grandchild from an unidentified 20 year old man (father?). The mayor, who was there on personal time with his family and without a security detail, came to her aid. Police believe the 20 year old man had no idea he was delivering a beat down with a metal pipe to the Mayor of the city. Watch the video here. He was against allowing law abiding wisconsinites to carry concealed but maybe that'll change now. Many politicians are against Joe Average having guns but they have theirs. Some people are more equal than others I guess:( Glad to see Mr Barrett isn't a coward, one can hope he'll see the light now that he's discovered how it feels to be helpless before a criminal.
