I wasn't certain if that was the same guy. Could be, of course. There have been a few reports of ex-Saddam bodyguards in the past. My more immediate puzzlement, however, was why this has never been mentioned in journalism outlets like the BBC or CNN. Aside from yesterday's shuttle tragedy, it would be one of the biggest stories of the past week. And you know CNN is just dying to scoop the others for eyeball attention. Gulf War 1 made them what they are today. So, I'm a little apprehensive towards the story. Whether one is hawk or dove on the invasion issue, nearly everybody wants to rubberneck the compelling smoking gun.
