An asthmatic now using xopenex
by: rljacobson, 6106 of 6116
I am a retired chemical engineer fighting asthma for 45 years. I have been using xopenex since may 20th. My peak outlet flow is holding above 320 L/min 6 hours after taking xopenex. My maximum flow is 390 L/min holding at 350 L/min for several hours. Previously I was taking albuterol and atrovent. After 5 hours my flow rate often got down to 250 L/min. A stiking diference is that I am not taking an airway dilator in early morning. I am waking up at 7AM still breathing comfortably. I can not make a direct comparison between xopenex and albuterol because they are supplied diferently.

I need xopenex suppied in a canister for convenient use in the same type of package as albuterol is supplied.
