AirPort base station
AirPort card
Dr. Botts iPod connectivity kit

I just installed my first wireless network with the AirPort stuff. First, installed the Airport card into my iMac DV SE, late 1999 model. This took about 5 minutes. Second, plugged my AirPort base station into my DSL router. This took about a minute. Third, ran the AirPort setup utility, which took another two minutes, most of which was devoted to me saying "it can't be this simple, can it?" and looking around for a place to enter IP addresses and AirPort card IDs, none of which were present. Then fired up my browser, and here I am posting wireless, after just 8 minutes of work.

Beautiful! It just works!

Gotta plug that iPod FM transmitter in as soon as dinner's over, and see how it works on the home stereo, with the car to come later (probably Monday).

Buona fortuna
