Welcome back David- I told Thomas, who is generously taking the lead in putting some level of threadie meeting together for July in Northern California (this sentence is going to be too long) that I would put together an eGroups page for us to use, beginning last week, for that discussion. I didn't do that, and instead chose to torture the MSFT Milita thread. I will, before the weekend put together a meet planning sub-thread. The sooner we can get a commitment from folks for a July date, and identify who the weenies are that *won't be attending, <g> the better. Lrt's try to do this thing and ave it wrapped up by the end of next week, otherwise we won't be able to get the dinner reservation in for any groovy places. --- I did a quick and dirty gateway between the GEnie online service (Aladdin reader) and a BBS software one time. It was fun (and cross networked). The problem is that it's illegal; something between stealing cable and downloading a Dr. Dre MP3. --- The same would be true here as SI retains some IP claim over the posts. If it weren't for that, it'd be ascended to go around and turn every web message board into downloadable QWK message packets (Go DOS! <g>).
