Roger - when it comes to billions of dollars - perhaps trillions - even the most ethical of souls sometimes sell out - the halls of power are great indeed - a lot easier for a 12 division infantry to fight the new netscapes and aol's - than for 1 general to attack a fast bunch of bees - with govt regulation and breakup - bill gates will not have to use business efficiency and freebies to beat out the next barksdale or mcnealy - he will be able to use uncle sam - much easier and cheaper - there were a few to challenge msft - who will challenge the us govt and its regulation?
