Like I said, you don't want to accept that there is a certain cost to living in a democracy.

The cost of government (or the cost to avoid anarchy) can be met by a simple, and relatively low tax regime. The fact that the cost is real, doesn't justify any arbitrary level of taxation. The "there is a cost to live in society" argument might be reasonable as an argument against someone calling for no taxes, but its silly as an argument against low taxes.


No less silly then you arbitrarily deciding you want to pay low taxes no matter what the real cost is. Once again, you are disconnected from reality. I want my taxes to be low as well.......but I am not willing to shortchange society in order to meet that goal.
