In three years, they make more money then most people make in a life time. Why is that acceptable to you?

The typically guy working in the MLB for three years, doesn't make more than most people make in a lifetime. That guy probably earns a lot less then the average (even if perhaps a lot more than I make).

I've seen the statistic....the average salary is $2.3 or $2.4 million. A rookies starts out at $250K.

But ignoring that and looking at players who do make more in three years then most people do in a lifetime - Yes it is acceptable to me. Its rich guy A (the player) getting paid by mega-rich guy B (the owner) because his services have a positive return for B. I have no problem with such a contract arrangement.

You don't......even though taxpayers are footing the bill for the rich owner. Frankly, you sound like a communist to me.......or at least an oligarch. Its not pretty.
