I wouldn't ascribe too much ill-intent to the "VRTX and GLX both have PI's entering the market in the next year." It looks like a simple mistake on someone's part. There's no one who even follows this market casually who would think they each have separate products, nor is there credible analyst who would attempt to confuse the market by claiming there were. Also, Abbott has a second gen PI under development, ABT-378. That's about all I know about it, I've bookmarked an Altavista search to take a look at it when I have the chance.

p.s., PNU also has a PI in the clinic I believe. I think Merck is working on a second gen PI, I'm not sure what stage. I don't believe AGPH has put a significant effort into a follow-on PI to Viracept ... someone else may know for sure.
