OT Bluetooth update: Here's a device offered by Widcomm, which uses higher power (quotes up to 100 m, similar to 802.11b systems), and adds the software layer necessary to allow 7 simultaneous users to access the wireless router. 208.184.159.138 This would be useful in a home or business environment, to allow various handhelds to communicate via the Bluetooth signaling format, to the Widcomm router which then ties you into a DSL or T-1 line. A Bluetooth offering which raises the bar vs 802.11b wireless LANs. Same comments apply as previously in re: distinction between the needs served by these products and the Ricochet system.
