Friday's action will be discussed for years, and made our markets look more akin to those of a banana republic than what they advertise themselves to be. The stench of human waste coupled with corruption was unmistakable; I think we all got more than a whiff of the real dark side of the markets, putting those responsible for the debacle in the same class as rats with syphilis.
