Marc and Kip, Do you both seriously believe Apple will make 1.5B this qtr? Personally, I'm still not totally sold the iMac will be big enough to offset the lower than usual sales of Power Macs. Plus, Apple really pulled a zinger by cutting out a few important BTO options. Finally, what I don't get is why Apple has so few combinations of Power Macs. Where's the single 1Gig model? How about an optional superdrive on the low end? How about a dual 1Gig with no superdrive? Why not keep the dual 800? Instead of giving more flexibility to potential buyers, Apple has chosen to further restrain the options. I just don't get it.
