well, I know people in the tahoe and LV area only, so just the urban areas, and while they do tend to lean republican, these folks are what I would call Reagan or Swartzenegger republicans as opposed to the bible belters.

I really think some of the problem with polls this time is the party system. Bush is not behaving as a republican, and Clinton wasn't your average democrat. NV republicans that do vote Bush are going to be holding their noses, for sure. But I believe in my gut that Kerry will win NV.

As for ohio and some other conservative states, I think Kerry has an ace in the hole with the black vote. The unemployment in the rust belt is beyond belief and NOT improving (that is the key)
