OK, some questions. I'm stoked.

Marc and OrionX:

A few reasons why I haven't posted of late, but one of the main ones is that, although interested in the technical discussions, my main interests are in AAPL as an investment (and I am aware of the relationship between the two) and as a user.

As to the March 11, 2000 post, I can only say, with no more than a little humility, that it was prescient. Unfortunately, I was too slow on the trigger to sell and, before you know it, we were in the 20s' (post-split). At least I picked up some more in the very low 20s.

and OrionX, by asking the question, I was showing a bit of skepticism. Apple has been light on revenues for a few quarters now. I can only hope Fred's guidance is well-founded--a quarter-to-quarter gain of nearly 10%! Right now I think that revenue gains are probably more important for the stock than profit gains. I am a bit dubious about the increase to $1.5 b., but with the recession seemingly coming to an end, I hope Fred's numbers are reachable.

FWIW: Long and heavily so.
