Hi Joe: The profit was from a tel-save wind fall..the net is changing to fast for AOLs modle to keep up..she has to get out of the ISP.. end and do a BYOA to live..ISP dial ups are to costly to run aginst the little mom/pop sety ups, cheap collage accsess, and not for profit clubs that are coming up..heck I can now get dial comercal dial up ISP for $6.95 a month..I have two paid accounts..and a third one thats free..AOL needs a new plan.. But the stock is anther story..you have to catch it on the edges short trem...but I'v got some leaps, and I'm long term short in a big way.. BTW ..I'm tracking 147 mutual funds daily , all sorted into sectors to give me my own indexes..the LARGE CAP GROWTH just gave way to the SMALL CAP VALUE..looks like we peaked yesterday.. going to be a correction coming up in the big caps..soon..how much I don't know..but the fund index is telling me the frenzy is over for the large caps and in a broad sence, the techs are going to correct..there will be very few that don't as the mutall fund circus is set up in such a way..that if they need cash..it's not a matter of who has profits..and all that stuff every body thinks that makes stocks move..it's what the crap do we have and if we sell this..do we loss money maybe better to hold that...call so and so..lets see if we can agree not to clobber one another.. ...it's all a ponzi scam..fund dollars chasing to few stocks.. and we have more funds than stocks..how high can it go..heck I don't know...but for the time being I think it's peaked..at least the big caps have..should get some dip tomorrow..then a fake bubble tuesday..then a sell down last part of next week -------------------- Jim
