I've worried about the destruction of documents, too. I'm not sure how that possibility is being
handled. However, the press seems to have a very long list of people who met with Cheney.
I found an article on the Internet that said that many of these people were on W's transition
team, including Lay, I believe.

W doesn't have any respect for the law. You can see that in his staff. As you say, Cheney is
out and about. Norton was taken to court for lying to a judge. I don't know if the court has made
a decision. W's lack of respect for the law may be out of ignorance. It's just a guess. I see
in this morning's paper that he is trying to implement a prescription program for seniors that
has already been struck down in the courts. And then there is Ashcroft. He is another matter
altogether. He is in trouble with the Senate over his budget. He holds people in detention and
won't press charges against them. On tv the other night a woman from Pakistan sold all her furniture,
including her refrigerator to hire a lawyer. Her husband was arrested in New York and no one knows
what has happened to him. She and her kids are going back to Pakistan. You would think that
she would have the right to know what has happened to him.
