What exactly was the negative impact of the Blackhawk Down followed by departure from Somalia to the USA? The Somalians have lived in chaos since, but what was so bad to the USA?

Since then we've hosted a few Olympics, turned the internet into a worldwide daily activity, had an amazing stock bubble, deflation, and then 4 years of rising markets, had one of the most amazing runs in property prices in history, encouraged China to enter the world economy, and become the #1 economic and military power on the planet. I could go on, but you get the point. The USA is doing great.

So what exactly is the negative impact to the USA of Blackhawk Down x 100?
