MINI-BULK SAMPLES EXTRACTED, DIAMOND DRILLING HAS COMMENCED

November 26, 2002. Burlington, Ontario

The Company reports that three mini bulk samples have been extracted from the GQ diamond Property, located north of Wawa, Ontario. Approximately 52 tonnes of diamond bearing heterolithic breccia has been collected from three blasted outcrop areas that were previously mechanically stripped. Two samples weighing approximately 20 tonnes each, were extracted from two separate areas of the Engagement Zone, and one sample weighing approximately 12 tonnes was extracted from SE-F, a recently discovered diamondiferous area (see press release date Nov 5, 2002). All samples have been shipped to Kennecott’s Laboratory in Thunder Bay, Ontario. These samples will be processed by Dense Media Separation which is expected to commence in early 2003. The samples were collected in accordance with Kennecott’s guidelines under the supervision of Band-Ore’s Qualified Person, Robert Duess.

The Company also reports that a core drilling program has commenced on the GQ property. At least 4 drill holes have been planned to test both the “Engagement Zone” and the recently discovered “Rainbow Zone”. This drilling will provide geological and stratigraphic information, as well as provide sample material of heterolithic breccia for caustic fusion and microdiamond processing. Over 22,000 diamonds have been recovered from surface samples from these zones.

Thorne Gold Project, Timmins, Ontario

Linecutting and geophysics has commenced on the Thorne Property located on the west side of the famous Timmins, Ontario gold camp. A diamond drilling program is scheduled to commence in early January, 2003. The Thorne Property hosts the Golden River Zones, which contain a total inferred resource of approximately 4 million tonnes in 13 zones, grading approximately 3 g/t Au or about 400,000 contained ounces of gold. The inferred resource calculation was prepared by an independent consultant according to the guidelines of NI 43-101. Detailed information is available on www.sedar.com.
