i still want to offer my kudos to you for recognizing cpq would be purchasing a company, and being way ahead of the analysts. i would have never guessed the company cpq would acquire would be dec, especially now, with dec without a networking sector (sold to cs) and no alpha chip (sold to intel), and now people think of dec as a service, suppport, integrator company. they may still be in the business of purchasing a networking company.
