OK Former Joe....thanks for the effort. I'll read up on that and how it will affect outlook and all for each user. I just thought there had to be some way to do something as seemingly simple as PW protect a folder.

I actually have a rule that no one is allowed on this machine but since it's been moved closer to the main audio "temple of worship" I have no doubts that things will happen when the fog rolls in. I don't allow any games on my main machine..there is nothing worse than an excited 8 year old doing an install on a CDrom game..they're hitting "OK" so fast that the config change wounds aren't clear for days<gg>

my first desktop had keys to lock it up...LOL!!
